Elizabeth Bridge

The small bridge leading from Elizabeth Square across the Szinva River at the foot of the Avas Hill is called Elizabeth Bridge. The bridge, the square and the glass-top bath were all named after Queen Elizabeth.

At first glance, the bridge reflects the architecture reminiscent of the turn of the century; however, it is fairly new. It was built in 2010 when some of the road giving way to the river was dug up. The bridge was built to mimic the Rakoczi Bridge.
