Borsod Folk Fest

The Borsod Folk Fest takes place in early summer welcoming visitors in the Diosgyor Castle. The Folk Fest features authentic Hungarian folk music and folk dance, as well as international music, dance, and arts and crafts shows, sprinkled with colorful programs for all ages. 

The festival features prestigious folk bands and performers who have been performing here year after year. One of these returning performers are the Csík Band, the Kerekes Band, and Félix Lajkó.

Adding to the hustle and bustle is the colorful market with merchants offering folk arts and crafts, as well as fine local food.
