Görömböly Mulled* Wine & Bacon Fest

Held at the Görömböly historic cellars, the Görömböly Mulled* Wine & Bacon Fest is the new year’s first gastronomic event in the region attracting more and more visitors each year.

The festivities include the annual Mulled Wine Making contest, as well as the Ecclesiastical Vincent’s Day mass celebration, followed by concerts.

During the festivities, wine tasting is available in the Görömböly Winecellars to the tune of local folk music.

(*Note: Mulled wine is popular throughout Europe. The term describes a red wine infused with spices and served warm; a winter tradition for centuries.)
