Gallery of Ottó Herman Museum

The Gallery of the Ottó Herman Museum is located on the first floor on Görgey Artúr Street. It is home to one of the biggest permanent art collections in the country, featuring masterpieces of Hungarian paintings and sculptures from the Baroque period to the Art Nouveau.

Some of the artists whose work is featured on the exhibition are Gyula Benczúr, Mihály Munkácsy, Pál Szinyei Merse, Lajos Gulácsy, Tivadar Csontváry Kosztka, József Rippl-Rónai, Vilmos Aba-Novák. In addition to the masterpieces of fine arts, there are also some of the most famous applied arts on display.

The museum's art gallery regularly hosts field trips and activities for school-age children and private groups.

  • Tuesday – Sunday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Monday: Closed
