Hungarian Orthodox Church Museum

The museum is a permanent exhibition displaying the artistic and cultural heritage of the Hungarian Orthodox Church in Miskolc housed in the former Greek school building overlooking Ferenc Deák Square.

The exhibition gives an insight into the world of the Greek Orthodox liturgy displaying fine, meticulous handmade crosses; the works of Mount Athos monks. On display are also icons from the 17th and 18th century, old school books, and pictures of old Greek Orthodox churches of Hungary.
