Metallurgical Museum of the Hungarian Museum of Technology and Transportation

From the Lillafüred Hanging Gardens in Upper Hámor, the Metallurgical Museum of the Hungarian Museum of Technology and Transport is within an easy walk.

The permanent exhibition is located in a historic Baroque style building. The exhibit provides information about the secrets of iron production and processing. Visitors will experience dioramas and get their hands on working models.

The museum offers a wide range of educational programs from creative workshops to field trips. The older age groups have the opportunity to connect with the friends of the museum consisting of retirees from the metallurgical industry.
