Paper Mill Museum – Diósgyőr
With its unique historical exhibit of the local paper industry which opened in 1982, the Diósgyőr Paper Mill stands out in Central and Eastern Europe. The display introduces the visitor to the history of local paper manufacturing, and tells the story of the paper mill from the very beginning through its collection of factory tools and documents, as well as an authentic workshop complete with contemporary 18th century equipment. This type of collection of industrial heritage is unmatched in Hungary.
