Post Horn Gallery

It is located on the 4th floor of the Miskolc Board of Directors of Magyar Posta Rt. (Hungarian Post Office, Inc.).

The gallery opened in 1998 hosting the permanent exhibition of the postal history of Miskolc and surrounding regions. It is located on the 4th floor of the Miskolc Board of Directors of Magyar Posta Rt. (Hungarian Post Office, Inc.).

The exhibit contains more than 200 years of historical and legal documents, maps, articles, and post office equipment collected from the beginning of the last century, giving a background of the Post Office in Northern Hungary. In addition to local curiosities, the exhibition also added a collection of antiques, photographs and writings that were donated by the post office staff from the region’s branch offices.

 

The exhibit is open by appointment only.
