For fitness enthusiasts, we recommend the Miskolctapolca Water Park offering great pools and sauna services. The facility is ideal for outdoor recreation, fitness and wellness facilities. 

Miskolctapolca’s first public pool opened almost 100 years ago. The first pool was built here in 1923. Over the years, the facility has undergone significant changes; even closing in 2004. However, ten years later, it was revived according to the European Green City guidelines, and now it meets all the 21st century standards.

The facility welcomes swimmers with a 50-meter swimming pool which often hosts water polo games that can be enjoyed from the stands from either side of the pool.

For families, a 31°C (89 Fahrenheit) warm water pool is available with a gradually increasing depth to 1.3 m (4.3 feet).

An indoor wellness pool, as well as a wave pool, and massage whirlpool offer relaxation.

Sauna World offers a variety of options for relaxation; saltwater cabin with beach-like atmosphere, the steamcabin for warming up, or ice cabin for cooling down with the refreshing ice. In the magma sauna, unique séances help you recharge and relax. In the herbarium sauna, you can soak in the evaporating aromas of herbs, and in the infrared sauna you can renew your body and soul in an environment that stimultes all your senses.

The top of the sauna towers offers magnificent views of the Bükk Mountains along with an ice-cold splash pool for cooling down. The view itself is refreshing.

Fitness lovers can let out some steam by working out in the spa complex. The latest cardio and workout machines, along with knowledgable trainers, welcome the workout enthusiast.
