Amateur Performing Arts Groups

In addition to professional actors, amateur performer groups have always contributed to the city's theatrical scene in every era. One example is the Vasgyar ironworkers’ amateur performances, but Pereces also boasted significant productions, whose outdoor stage has recently been remodeled.

The Sándor Pécsi Rolling Stage is a several-decade-old youth group made up of high school students. In addition to classical pieces, their repertoire includes mostly musicals and dance productions.

The Romano Teátro is a Gypsy theater group which promotes tolerance of cultural values representing an entirely unique color.
